A Benefit for Special Olympics

15K Run and Bike travel through Fumee Lake Natural Area. The course is mostly flat, unpaved scenic trails.

The 5 Mile Run, 5 Mile Walk and 2 Mile Run/Walk are around beautiful Lake Antoine. The course is flat and paved (will accomodate strollers).

All events start and finish at Lake Antoine County Park, Iron Mountain, MI.

Leashed dogs welcome.

Competivite Events - 15K Run, 5 Mile Run and 2 Mile Run

Non-Competitive Events - 5 Mile Walk, 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk and 15K Bike

RACE TIME: 

Registration 7:30 am to 8:30 am - 9:00 am Race/Walk Start (All Bikers out by 8:45 am)

DIVISIONS:

Male / Female / Wheelchair / Special Olympian

15K and 5M Runs = Ages 11 & Under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

2 M Run = Ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19

AWARDS:

15K and 5M Runs = Awards to top 3 M/F overall and medals to top 3 finishers in age divisions

2M Run = Medals to top three M/F in age divisions

UPRRC Members take a $2 discount off fees. No fee for Special Olympians.

Participants ages 12 and under, $5 any event (no UPRRC discounts).

A 2011 Dickinson County Parks Sticker ($5 fee) is required to park at Lake Antoine County Park.

Stickers will be available at the gate on race day.

FEATURES:

All pre-registrants receive t-shirt. Race day registrants recieve shirts as long as supplies last.

Race is sanctioned by the Upper Peninsula Road Runners Club and every effort is made to assure the safety of all

runners/walkers/bikers. Water and aid stations are located through out the courses and beverages/refreshments are

provided at the finish. Race Proceeds are donated to local area Special Olympics.
